This type of wood is used due to it's slow growing properties, therefore making the wood more durable. The Arctic woods growth zone covers Canada, Finland, Russia and the baltic regions.
The two most important parts of our construction include our policy of using only 'kiln-dried' logs so as to minimise the amount of 'shakes' or 'cracks' in our logs and secondly, our practice of using a unique patented corner joints which means our joints are completely wind and rain proof due to the manner in which they have been machined and produced.
Our windows and doors are also of the finest quality. All of our handles and hinges are supplied by the top German Company 'Roto'. Double Glazing windows come as standard but we also offer the option of triple glazing for an additonal fee.
